Ok, we are certainly don't believe that BK WHOPPER's New York Pizza Burger is a pizza in the traditional sense, but it is large enough, and is cut in slices!

Burger King's BK WHOPPER Bar in New York City is producing their own supersized specialty hamburger, pizza, sandwich. Called the NY Pizza Burger it contains four FOUR Whopper hamburger patties, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce, all on a 9-and-a-half inch bun.

There's something special about the pizza place you went to when you were in high school. Everyone had their favorite spot to stop at to get "a slice."

For me it was La Scala in Commack, NY (Long Island).

Long Island is filled with pizza places. Most of them are quite good. But the best of them find some way to stand out above the rest.

La Scala is a pretty unassuming place, it is in a little shopping center. When you walk in the front door it is a traditional pizzeria. A counter to order at, with more people working behind the counter than can comfortably fit there, a couple of tables, a counter with a couple of stools, and lots of napkin dispensers. (They even had video games years back, but those were removed to allow for more seating I suppose). ...
